New Miasma Theory Chapter 3: Replica brings to a close the homonymous project that artist Ewa Poniatowska has been developing since 2020. Taking as its starting point an understanding of sound as the last refuge of miasma, New Miasma Theory has unfolded through different explorations of the ways in which body and sound intertwine, with a particular focus on dance and laughter epidemics.
This third chapter takes the form of a performance conceived as both ritual and concert, where the body doubles itself, opening a space for reflection on the fantasies, desires, and hidden mysteries of the human mind.
